Another exciting day of sewer

Well the last couple of days have been very busy. I decided to take a day of to go skiing in the mountains, the conditions were perfect at Marmot Basin, lots of powder up on top and very few people to share it with during the week. We stopped at the upper chalet for a cold one and upon sitting around the fire I befriended another winded skier. He happened to be from Stony Plain and in desperate need of a new septic system. I gave him our phone number and web address, looks like we picked up more work for the spring, I love days off that turn out like that. But taking a day off from water wells, septic systems and pumps in general means that I will be working on Saturday. Today I had to make a service call south of Spruce Grove to replace a water pressure system. Indipendant Pump in Edmonton Alberta was able to get me all the parts I needed, and on a Saturday! The new pressure system works great and takes up less space than the old one.

Got home in the afternoon and got a call from one of my biggest contracts, water system down in Sangudo Alberta, and he needs it up and running as soon as possible, Cattle to water. I phone Indipendant Pump again and they get me what I need for the second time on the same day, Thanks AJ! Turns out that lightning had hit a barn and burned out a Grundfos constant pressure system, thank goodness that the pump was alright, just the pump on that system is $1800. I replaced the pressure switch and the control box and they are back in business, Guy working in the shop said he needs a septic system for his new home and so I passed him our info again. I think this spring is going to be one for the record books. All I need now is a couple of good guys I can rely on to get all this work done.
